Our museum trip

We had an old fashioned writing lesson.

WALT: draw 3d shapes on isometric paper and work out how many faces we can see and how many are hidden

Next steps - to draw harder shapes and work out the hidden sides.

I'm WILF   

• I use short (simple) sentences correctly.

• I make some sentences longer by joining them with conjunctions (joining words) like ‘and’, ‘but’ or ‘because’.

• I sometimes use conjunctions (joiners) correctly to start my sentences. eg ‘Before . . .’ , ‘After . . .’ , When . . .’ , Because . . .’ ‘When . . .’.

• I use ‘tense’ (past, present or future) correctly most of the time.

Writing Task: Think back to a really special experience you have had.   It might be a birthday, a family dinner or a trip somewhere.  Write a recount about it.

When me and my family went to Australia we saw my dad at the airport. we stayed in Sydney for 2 weeks and drove to Queensland and stayed there for 3 weeks.These are the places we went to Movie world,Sea world,the Zoo and Wet and wild. The one I love the most was wet and wild they had a wave pool and a tornado pool My second favourite was Movie World there was a awesome roller coaster it was a Scooby Doo one my mum dad Beau and I were all SCREAMING very loud my brother Beau was screaming the most he also started crying at the end and said I don't want to go on that ride again butbbbmju.In SeaWorld me and my mum went on a different roller coaster so I said to my mum can we sit in the front and she said only if no ones sitting  there and I ran to the front and hop in we got all wet at the end Beau and dad went on a calm ride.After Beau got off the we went to the Arcade we won a lotI gave Beau some toys to make it even.Then we all went home because they were closing.That night me and Beau went for a swim on the roof there was a spa on the roof as well.The next morning we went down to the car park and bort our money down to the machine games.When we went back too Sydney we could only stay for one more night.
