Maths Collabrative Task

Every Monday we have Collabrative tasks and after we have finished all our tasks we go on to a different group. For the art exhibition the year five and sixes are making greeting cards we have already finished 2 and we have to finish a few more her are the greeting cards we have finished.

Te reo Moāri

Every Wednesday we do Te reo with Mr B and learn how to speak Moāri. So we made a movie to show we've learnt how to speak to 30 in Moāri.Click here

Art Inquiry Workshop

Artist:Kathy Klein

Kathy Klein is my artist her art is mandalas nature mandalas.

I like her art because she uses nature.

She lived on a farm and then she moved to NYC. Since she moved to the city she wanted nature what she didn't have any more.

Kathys first mandala was made on her family's farm and was in 2010

She is 59 and born in 1958 

I can't wait to do some more mandalas with different types of nature

Maths We choose a work shop to oped into and and went to them to learned the goal we choose in a classroom. We have must do's and can do's we also do independent task when we've done everything we go on matific or play math games.

P.E

This term we have been working on swimming skills to improve them.

My favourite skill is breaststroke 

My next step is to go up to the top group called sharks

P.E

This term we are learning to do new hockey skills like the Indian dribble and many more skills.

My next step is to be able to keep the ball for a long time without it been taken off me.

Metaphors

Writing Term 1

WALT:  use metaphors in our writing to make it more interesting and to describe ourself better.

I used metaphors to describe myself.

Georgia is maple syrup spreaded on pancakes  at the Corner Cafe.

Georgia as buzzy as a bee on a flower collecting nectar.

Georgia is as tall as a MBA player standing big and proud.

Georgia is like a bright happy sunflower.

Georgia is sometimes as slow because she doesn't get her work finished in time.

My next step is to put a lot more metaphors in my writing a lot more often.

EOTC

This is a picture of  room 7 and 9 at the beach we went to other places around the clive community and other places.

My favourite part was getting pushed over by the big waves
